The number of stockholders of record does not reflect the number of individual or institutional stockholders that beneficially own our stock because most stock is held in the name of nominees. Based on information available to us, we believe there are approximately 92,000 beneficial holders of our common stock. Dividends We declared and paid a $0.21 per share and a $0.18 per share quarterly cash dividend on our common stock during each quarter of fiscal years 2018 and 2017, respectively. We recently declared a $0.30 per share quarterly cash dividend for the first quarter of fiscal 2019. We are scheduled to pay the quarterly cash dividend on November 20, 2018 to all holders of record of our common stock as of November 6, 2018. The payment of any future dividends will be at the discretion of our board of directors and will depend upon a number of factors that the board of directors deems relevant, including future earnings, the success of our business activities, capital requirements, the general financial condition and future prospects of our business and general business conditions. Our ability to pay cash dividends on our common stock is also dependent on the ability of our subsidiaries to pay dividends to the parent company. Some of our subsidiaries are subject to requirements of the SEC, FINRA, the CFTC, the NFAand other regulators relating to liquidity, capital standards and the use of client funds and securities, which may limit funds available for the payment of dividends to the parent company.
